Mr. Newell is the Prairie Regional Representative for Ad IDEM. He has experience defending media outlets in defamation actions. He also provides pre-publication advice. Mr. Newell has appeared in number of applications which promoted open courts and access to administrative hearings. Mr. Newell has successfully opposed a number of publication ban applications. He has also provided presentations to lawyers, judges and journalistic on various media law issues.
