Ethics and Transparency in Public Matters Act, 2001
This Private Members' Bill in Ontario would require open
meetings and more stringent conflict rules for
provincial and municipal boards, commissions and other public
bodies. The bill addresses the issue of Councils and boards
going in camera at the drop of a hat in order to keep contentious
debate out of the public eye or to avoid embarrassing someone.

not destined for passage.
